Herb Butter

Herbs great for this -- chives, parsley, garlic, dill, rosemary, tarragon, basil, sage, etc. The butter is delicious on breads, pasta, vegetables, seafood, meat, etc.


1 cup butter

3 Tbsp fresh herbs, finely chopped

Dash of paprika, optional  


Mix the ingredients using a food processor or blender. You can also do this by hand if the butter has first been softened. Once everything has been thoroughly mixed, chill in the refrigerator for several hours, then make individual pats, wrap a few at a time in a foil packet, then freeze in freezer bags.
